Our Charlestown project, Macquarie Tower has seen its last suspended slab poured, and has now completed the structural construction phase of the development!!! Reflecting on 2024 - we want to take a moment to thank our teams across the business who have powered us through an incredible year. Together, we’ve completed a record number of projects and launched our biggest development to date. This year has been filled with both challenges and achievements, including several industrial and commercial milestones such as the completion of Guzman y Gomez at Tighes Hill, MYHQ industrial units at Morisset, and the Heatherbrae Supa Centre where we will welcome national tenants - Anaconda Stores, Petbarn, Subway, Oporto, RSEA Safety, and Metro Petroleum. Our fit-out team successfully delivered Finn Poke on the ground floor of Darby Plaza, and we completed New Hampton on Glebe townhouses before moving just a few doors down to begin the next lot at 431 on Glebe. In a historic first for our 27-year journey, we put two cranes in the sky on a single development at ONE Apartments. Progress is advancing rapidly, with construction reaching Levels 14 and 17, and top-out anticipated in early 2025. This year also saw the completion of CREST Georgetown, with 23 apartments and two commercial spaces. Additionally, we reached a major milestone at Macquarie Tower by pouring the 21st and final slab, with residents and commercial tenants expected to move in early 2025. One of our most exciting announcements this year was the launch of ERA Newcastle—a future shaping urban village that will include 281 apartments. Construction is already underway at Bull Street, and this landmark project will begin reshaping Newcastle’s skyline in 2025. Level by level ONE is climbing to the top!! It has been a huge year at ONE Apartments by GWH for the team onsite. The year started with celebrations of breaking records with the Level 1 carpark slab, and has ended reaching Level 14 on the south tower, and Level 12 on the north. This is exciting news and means we are on track to reach the top of both towers mid 2025 as scheduled.
