Ruby Pass has made history and finished 13th in the 2024 Paris Olympics All-Around final, Australia's third best placing for a female gymnast in this final - tied with Georgia Bonora in 2008.  Ruby, 17, made a stellar Olympic debut with an All-Around final score of 53.798. Words can't describe how proud we are of Ruby and this incredible achievement.  Put your hands together for the 13th best gymnast in the world! 🤩⭐ #discoverthefreedom #rubypass #paris2024 📸 FIG

Gymnastics Queensland is thrilled to announce our new ambassadors, Corey and Margaux Parker! This dynamic duo and parents of four bring a passion for health, fitness, parenting, and sport to their new role with GQ. Corey boasts a long list of sporting accolades from his 16 year career as a professional rugby league player, and Margaux is a Triple M radio presenter and social media personality who is no stranger to kids in sport. All four Parker children have taken part in gymnastics, experiencing a boost in confidence, fitness, and agility, as well as learning skills that are key to other sports and activities - such as rugby league. Together, they hope to share their passion for sport and gymnastics with all of Queensland. We’re so excited to have you Margaux and Corey!

This Olympic Day we're celebrating one of the greats, and the only Australian gymnast to win a medal at an Olympic Games.  In 2000, Ji Wallace made history and secured a silver medal in Trampoline at the Sydney Olympic Games. Flash forward to 2024, and Ji is still inspiring the masses. Whether he's coaching at Robertson Gymnastics, or working as GQ's Trampoline High Performance Development Coach, Ji's dream is to continue to spread his love for the sport into the next generation and beyond.  "To become an Olympian is a rare and truly wonderful honour, and to compete for your country at the OIympics is spine tingling. World Olympic Day is a great opportunity to promote the Olympic ideals that everyone can get around - encourage effort, preserve human dignity, and develop harmony. These ideals are a daily reminder that we are all on this planet striving for a little better every day. Happy Olympic Day!" - Ji Wallace   #OlympicDay | #HaveAGo | #gymqld

With the Paris Olympic Games only 37 days away, these six Queensland ladies are making history - forming a part of the largest gymnastics team that Australia has ever sent to an Olympic Games.  We couldn't be more proud of the entire Australian team. Fulfilling a lifelong dream of competing at an Olympic Games is no small feat, and is a true reflection of their sheer dedication to the sport that they love.  Please join us in congratulating the 13 athletes in the gymnastics cohort of the 2024 Australian Olympic Team, including our six Queenslanders!  #discoverthefreedom #discovergymnastics #gymqld #AllezAus

As a high-performance gymnast, Caedan has already represented Australia in Austria, the Czech Republic, and Germany, soaking up international experience as he prepares for the World Championships and the 2032 Olympics.  He is also enrolled in the TAFE Queensland TAFE at School program, where he is studying a Certificate II in Sports Coaching, hoping to one day coach in the sport he loves. Running out of the Gymnastics Queensland State Training Centre, the program allows students to take part in both theory and practical hands-on delivery, learning job-ready skills while receiving accreditation under the Gymnastics Australia framework to coach at a foundation level. “I'm still studying in school, but coaching is a logical and natural progression for an athlete. Getting qualified will give me the tools to use my gymnastic skills, knowledge, and experience to coach and develop the next generation.” You can read more about Caedan and the TAFE at School Progam here  👉
