NATIONAL MANAGERS' CONFERENCE | Last week, we had the privilege of bringing together our talented managers from Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney for an exceptional conference hosted in Brisbane. We are excited to share a few highlights from what proved to be two days of remarkable learning and team building! The conference featured an outstanding lineup of speakers who delivered valuable insights across diverse topics. Mark Bailey from Hall Chadwick Melbourne provided an enlightening update on Cryptocurrency, helping us navigate this evolving digital landscape and understanding how accounting can play a role. Damien van Brunschot from Evolve and Resolve tackled the challenging transition from "Technician to People Leader" - offering practical strategies to overcome the common hurdles we face as accounting professionals moving into leadership roles. Donna Stone from Stone Business Consulting shared her wisdom on mastering time management - a skill we can never refine enough in our profession! Alan Kepper and Michael Adamson from Laminar presented a fascinating overview of the AI landscape and its implications for our industry. A topic that we are all prioritising. Sammy Barnett closed our learning sessions with a high-energy workshop on optimising nutrition when feeling overstimulated and undernourished - something we accountants can certainly relate to! Following the presentations, we put our problem-solving skills to the test at Escape Manor Brisbane. Watching cross-office teams collaborate to solve puzzles was a highlight as new friendships formed between colleagues who normally only connect virtually. We concluded this remarkable event with a breathtaking sunset dinner atop The Star Brisbane - the perfect setting to reflect on our learnings and celebrate the connections made. We are all grateful for these opportunities to grow together and form stronger relationships across the Hall Chadwick Association. #teamwork #accounting #hallchadwickqld #hallchadwick
