The Transport team welcomed new additions to the growing fleet with 5 x Kenworth T659 Tri Drive Prime movers which will go with our PBS approved A-Triple road trains coming online very soon in our Bulk Quarry Materials & Cement transport fleets. With 2 more Kenworth T610s added, it takes the total to 11 x T610s this year!   With this increase to the fleet and the larger combinations on the road, transport is able to deliver more payload to our internal & external customers! Arranged through The Smith Family, we had the privilege of hosting Mark Oliphant College onsite at our Port Adelaide Distribution Hub. An energetic group of 19 students attended and asked an array of questions relating to future careers, particularly how they can work for Hallett in the future. Our General Manager of Operations, Craig Cresp, along with other local delegates and companies, were fortunate to join BHP in Port Augusta on Sunday for lunch prior to the AFLW trial match between the Adelaide Crows and Port Adelaide. Preceding the headliner game, the local female competition took to the field with their first round of finals. Craig can be seen in one of the photos as the coach of the U14 Girls West Augusta football team. The Hallett Group were super excited to host a regional school at our Port Augusta Green Cement Processing Hub site. The Smith Family, a great charity that supports children and their families with unlocking better futures for themselves, contacted the local Hallett team and planned for the QUORN AREA SCHOOL to visit the site. "What a great way for our business to support a charity where we can be a key link in unlocking a better future for these children with future job opportunities and truly #growingourown locally here in Port Augusta and the surrounding communities of the Upper Spencer Gulf and Flinders Ranges" Craig Cresp, GM of Operations USG. Craig Cresp, General Manager Operations (Upper Spencer Gulf), pictured here with Morgan Dunn, Gallery Art’s Officer, was then invited to be a guest judge for the festival. Craig indicated that "there are some amazing pieces as part of the festival and is looking forward to seeing the final judging results".
