We are very proud to announce our partnership with The Australian Film Television & Radio School (AFTRS) to support Australia’s First Nations students in the Australian film and broadcast sectors. The HOYTS Group First Nations Scholarship will cover the full tuition fee for the standard three-year Bachelor of Arts Screen: Production course. After launching our first Reconciliation Plan in January, we are now very proud to support First Nations students through the scholarship. This partnership with AFTRS recognises our shared values in bringing the very fabric of Australian storytelling to life, and the role of ensuring a First Nations narrative remains central to the arts.

Congratulations to Tyrone Dodds on his 10th anniversary at The HOYTS Group. As Director of Property and Business Development, Tyrone joined HOYTS at an exciting time during the company’s regeneration phase in 2014. He has since led an aggressive refurbishment, new build, and cinema expansion program over the past ten years. Tyrone has overseen more than $300 million of capital investment across Australia and New Zealand and, alongside other executives, has been instrumental in introducing and delivering concepts such as recliner seating, HOYTS LUX, D-BOX, Treat City, Artie's Bar, Daybeds, and Lounge Cinemas. His relationships throughout the property industry are second to none, and HOYTS is lucky to have him as a valued team member.

A huge congratulations to Rachel Green, EA to the CEO and CFO of HOYTS Group, for winning the B&T Women in Media Award for Business Support. The prestigious Women in Media Awards honour the exceptional women who have demonstrated excellence in their professional fields, as well as those who mentor and support others.
