A Social Media Marketing Traineeship is up for grabs at Hunty HQ. With some internal restructuring, Lauz has recently stepped into a recruiting role which has opened up space for someone to come in and take control of our social media. Imagine spending your days filming office antics, whipping up killer reels, and coming up with cool s#%t—oh, and did we mention? You’ll be doing it all while sipping on barista-made coffee. Yep, daily. For free. (Pinch yourself, this isn’t a dream.) But wait, it gets better. How about a four-day workweek with full pay? Welcome to the Huntsman world. You’ll own our social media game—capturing everything from reels and stories to full-blown video projects. We want our socials to be popping off the rails! Whether you're snapping shots on an iPhone or getting fancy with our Sony FX30, you'll need to know your way around editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or even CapCut. We want someone who can create content like it’s second nature. You ARE the content King or Queen. You'll get to study a Cert III in Marketing and the growth opportunities are endless. You’ll have a mentor to guide you, and when you're ready to spread your wings, we’ll be cheering you on. Maybe you're wrapping up your HSC and thinking about taking a gap year? Or maybe you’ve got your sights set on a career in Social Media and Marketing and just need that first foot in the door? Well, guess what—today's your day. To everyone that needs to hear this right now, in particular business owners. A lot of people I've been speaking to are finding it tough. Financial stress, staffing issues and the usual list of worries or concerns. It seems to be even heavier at the moment. Know that everything is working out. Everything you've ever been through, you've handled. You have a 100% success rate of getting through hard times. The tide goes out and allows space for the tide to come back in. There will always be periods of contraction that help with aligning for growth when things turn, so look for the opportunity. Focus on creating value for your team, your family and your customers. Laura Phillips kicked off as our labour hire specialist a few weeks ago and has been absolutely lighting it up. After a 12 month apprenticeship as the gun behind our social media, she’s now copped a promotion into the labour hire space. I’m yet to come across someone as organised, coachable and willing to take action. Here she is on a Thursday at 6pm in her Sunday best still knocking out calls. We sat on the phones and made over 20 calls in an hour to make sure we had a job order sorted for a next day start. Lauzy is going to be a huge success so watch this space. We love you Lauzy. Looking back, I really started the business for the wrong reasons. It was to impress my parents, friends, and family. To prove a point, showing them all what I could achieve. At 28, you think you know it all, but you’re still a pup. I set out to build a successful business and give myself financial freedom, but what I ended up finding was myself. I became a better person—stronger, more resilient, and grateful. There’s been so much self-development that I could write a book. So much change in perspective. So many lessons. When people say it’s about the journey, it’s true. The journey shows you the way. If you have your eyes open, there are opportunities to grow in every interaction. The funny thing is, everything has looped back on itself. I’m now finding myself eager to get back on the tools, and I find so much fulfillment actually doing the legwork of recruiting, coaching the crew and growing teams for businesses - it’s the best job in the world. What makes you fulfilled and content isn’t owning a business; it’s being of service and creating value for others. You can literally do that in any role. It’s going home to your family knowing you’ve done your best by everyone you’ve come across. It’s a change of perspective. I’ve taken the ego out of it, got the right coaches around me, and absorbed their teachings. I’m in such a better place for it.
