Today is National Ride2Work Day. In previous #WellnessMatters articles, we've talked about how making cycling a part of your day is good for your physical and mental health, but riding may also be the simple and sensible solution to other issues, including easing financial pressures, alleviating road traffic and congestion, and helping the environment. https://lnkd.in/g7BvHhrY

Our research into Gender Diversity in the Australian IT Market revealed that with the introduction of flexible working conditions, hybrid and remote working models have given women greater opportunities to achieve work/life balance - and participate in full-time work. In the 2024 BCEC WGEA Gender Equity Insights report, released today, WGEA CEO Mary Wooldridge states "enabling more management roles to be undertaken part-time or flexibly would increase the talent pool available to employers and help reduce the gender pay gap." https://lnkd.in/gkV_iDAs

The days are getting longer, the winter solstice has been and gone, we got through the End of Financial Year and are now getting around Q3. The sweet smell of spring is in the air, so in today's #WellnessMatters article, we think this seems a great time to pause and reflect on our goals. Our goals may move dynamically with what happens around us, so does your list need updating? https://lnkd.in/eg43h6qQ

September 1, 2024, marks International Women in Cyber Day (IWCD). "Only 27% of women in the sector reported having a role model or mentor of the same gender, compared to over 50% of men who reported having a male equivalent, according to RMIT's report. As leaders, it's our duty to ensure that every team member feels connected and supported." https://lnkd.in/gr93A5qy
