Last week’s Procurement Leaders | A World 50 Group Community event in Dubai was a resounding success. Infosys Portland Director Nicholas Marriott and Senior Consultant Chloe Richards facilitated roundtable discussions with key #procurement leaders on the topic of digital procurement and its role in driving business value. The key insights from the region in this area are, companies recognize that more can be done with leveraging legacy procurement systems, there is a need to move away from operational tasks into value creation using the Infosys Portland NextGen Diamond Ring and how a different approach to engaging with internal stakeholders in providing them with an enhanced Customer Experience (CX) can derive additional benefits. Infosys Portland looks forward to unlocking more value for procurement functions across the Middle East region.

Read blog > https://lnkd.in/gFGgMXMu “With the Olympics in Paris this year, the ambition to be faster, higher and stronger is on our minds. In 2021 the Olympic Committee approved the addition of an en dash and the word ‘together’ to give us this updated version for Paris; faster, higher, stronger – together. A touching inclusive signal for a world very much in need of harmony. Faster, higher, stronger – together, could just as easily apply to the way data analytics is transforming business. The fact is, finally, the dream of integrated data analysis can be realised, and #procurement teams are sitting front and centre.” Infosys Portland Associate Director, James Ball, shares his insights on the future of #dataanalytics - a popular topic of discussion we have with organisations across the globe.

Read Blog > https://lnkd.in/gjrssXvU “It makes sense to start applying AI to low-value, low-risk tasks – to automate the mundane. This allows us to develop proof of concept and garner associated buy-in, develop basic competence, and gain further insight through implementation… If you are looking for the low-hanging fruit then think of daily housekeeping activities, consider inflation reporting, benchmarking, contract and risk management, spend analytics and ESG measures as worthwhile starting points.” Infosys Portland Associate Director, James Ball provides a practical explanation of how to incrementally incorporate #AI into your #procurement function. This is hot topic of discussion we continually have with our clients.
