✍🏻 Each month, our CEO and co-founder Phaedon Stough pens an intro to our newsletter. This month, his musings struck a particular chord with our audience and we had a flood of responses. Here's a snippet: "I was just speaking to someone in the team about the differences in culture between Australia and places like Silicon Valley and Tel Aviv. Their notion was that the key difference is that Australians tear down successful founders, where they see them as shining lights. At IB, we are bucking that crap Aussie trend; we put our community on stage and they share their wisdom with us. This amplifies our knowledge and scar tissue. We currently have just under 300 members of our community… that is a lot of shared knowledge and scar tissue." As we gear up for Explore24 and VDU in just over 2 weeks, there could not be a more apt time for this community-first ethos to be on display 🤗 Our team has been working day and night (literally) to curate an experience like no other that first and foremost creates opportunities for our founder and investor members to share war stories and lessons, celebrate the hard-earned wins together, and commiserate about the frustrations that are inevitable on this journey.
