Speak Up when you see unsafe work.
Prepare to Speak Up when you see unsafe work - download SIRA NSW Speak Up Save Lives app. https://lnkd.in/gZc-yrBD https://lnkd.in/gMfUcGsy I witnessed some unsafe working at heights this morning. I spoke to the young lads onsite and got "she'll be right" responses. They ignored me when asking if I could speak to a site manager. I felt a twinge of doubt over dobbing someone in and potentially making their day more difficult, but then reflected that their day could be a hell of a lot worse with one little misstep. We are working with a young man whose life was irreversably changed after a TBI from a fall installing solar and I think if only someone had considered the situation differently and took responsibility to Speak Up.

What a fantastic day! This was such a positive experience for the Rehabilitation Team.
Last Thursday, the IOH Health rehab team gathered at our Penrith office for a day of learning, relationship building and a bit of fun. We kick-started the day with a visit from some of the Allianz Australia Personal Injury CTP team. Hearing straight from the source about the services, support and innovations Allianz CTP are delivering, was invaluable to our rehab team. We continued the day with some internal training, followed by a rather competitive few rounds of trivia. Always a great day spending time with our rehab team. Maybe next time I will win some trivia!
