We had the privilege of capturing both photo and video at the 17th Annual AEMEE Conference in Walyalup (Fremantle) earlier this month. 📸🎥 With the theme "From Sparks to Flames: Indigenous Business Fuelling the Future," the event highlighted the incredible growth and diversity of Indigenous businesses in the resources and energy sectors, with a strong focus on sustainability. It was inspiring to witness such powerful conversations and connections, celebrating the strength, resilience, and innovation of Indigenous leaders driving the future of these industries. A huge thank you to AEMEE and everyone involved for creating a space that fosters collaboration and fuels progress. Congratulations to the award finalists and winners who were recognised at the AEMEE Awards – your achievements are paving the way for even greater success! #AEMEEConference #IndigenousBusiness #Sustainability #ResourcesAndEnergy #JalaniMedia

Excited to share some brand photography we recently created for Liyan Mayi Catering, owned and managed by the incredible Rachel Tolentino Marshall. ✨ Rachel brings her passion for food and storytelling to life by blending native Indigenous ingredients with the unique fusion cuisine of the Kimberley region. We’re currently working with Rachel on her entire branding suite, including her logo, website, and more. Stay tuned for the full launch of this inspiring new business 👩🍳 🍽 #BrandPhotography #JalaniMedia #IndigenousBusiness #IndigenousBusinessMonth

Excited to share the logo and brand design we created for Billingjul Aboriginal Corporation! This branding suite is inspired by the natural beauty of Purnululu National Park (the Bungle Bungles), incorporating organic shapes, rich earth tones, and elements that reflect the deep cultural connection to Country. We’re proud to have delivered a visual identity that represents both the unique landscape and the rich heritage of the region. #BrandDesign #LogoDesign #FirstNationsBusiness #JalaniMedia #CreativeAgency #AboriginalTourism #BillingjulAboriginalCorporation

✨ Transforming Spaces, Celebrating Culture ✨ We're thrilled to share a behind-the-scenes look at our recent project with the Office of the DPP for WA. This initiative aimed to create a more inclusive and culturally enriching workplace. Our team successfully managed the installation of stunning First Nations artwork throughout the ODPP office. A highlight was the live painting by the talented Noongar artist Jarni McGuire, which provided a unique opportunity for staff to witness the creative process and engage with the artist directly. The NAIDOC morning tea marked the official unveiling of the artwork, bringing together employees to celebrate First Nations culture and the positive impact of this project. A special thank you to Callum Musson for helping make this project happen and to Discus Print & Signage for helping to bring the artwork to life.

Looking back on a wonderful #NAIDOC Week 2024, our Bennett - Litigation and Commercial Law team had an engaging conversation with Emeritus Professor Colleen Hayward AM on this year's theme, “Keep the fire burning! Blak, loud and proud.” In celebration of NAIDOC Week and Aboriginal culture, we partnered with GATHER FOODS - an Aboriginal-owned, native food inspired business - who catered a delicious firm lunch. Solicitor, Sophie Coffin, joined a panel with Noongar leader Carol Innes AM, Bardi and Kariyarra lawyer Tyson McEwan, and Noongar and Eastern Arrernte artist Jade Dolman, moderated by First Nations advocate Emma Garlett. The panel discussed the impact of the Voice to Parliament referendum result, exploring its cultural and social implications and discussing the way forward one year on. Photography by Jalani Media. We also joined Woollahra for a NAIDOC Week event featuring cultural exhibitions and activities like the “Community Canvas," guided by Indigenous artist Lesha Wyatt. To wrap up NAIDOC Week, Bennett staff participated in a creative team building session, drawing inspiration from the Six Noongar Seasons. #BennettLaw #NAIDOCWeek2024 #IndigenousCulture #TeamBuilding #VoiceToParliament #GatherFoods

Honoured to capture the 'One Year On from the Voice to Parliament' panel discussion at Fremantle Arts Centre, organised by Garlett Group in partnership with Fremantle Arts Centre, and the City of Fremantle. Over 100 attendees gathered in the Wardong Gallery, to engage in meaningful conversations about the path forward following the 2023 Voice to Parliament Referendum. Moderated by Emma Garlett, it was a powerful event during NAIDOC Week, highlighting the importance of ongoing dialogue and understanding. Panellists Carol Innes AM, Sophie Coffin, Tyson McEwan, and Jade Dolman shared insights on political constraints, trust, and industry experiences. Guests were welcomed to Country by Ingrid Cumming and Dillon Cumming. #NAIDOC2024 #KeepTheFireBurning
