Incorporated in 1964 in France, JCDecaux has been providing high quality, architecturally designed street furniture in Australia since 1997. Its Australian business includes street furniture and transport advertising, plus its recent acquisition of APN Outdoor in Australia and New Zealand comprising 40,000 assets spanning airports, rail, transit, static and digital billboards. It will be hard to beat The ICON as a highlight of 2024. Launched in May, after 6yrs of planning. It was a risk, but we launched this asset for a 100% Share of Time takeover. Something unheard of since the days of Static ruling the industry, and we couldn’t give digital away! Luckily, JCDecaux has a philosophy of “Bravery Counts”, and we have been sold out since launch! We’ve had numerous clients take on The ICON, from all different categories. A special shout out has to go to our partners at Samsung and Chep though. Samsung are an amazing client for the outdoor industry. They understand the value of consistent, impactful messaging- and this can be seen the world over! Just look at these two assets! Together, JCDecaux and Telstra are keeping you charged up on the move! Telstra has launched a national multi-format campaign, introducing their new brand positioning ‘Wherever We Go’. 🏖 Bus shelters in Bondi have been transformed into an interactive brand experience, with each featuring custom seating, ambient lighting, and a mobile phone charging station. 🏙 Charging stations were installed on standalone panels across iconic Brisbane and Melbourne CBD locations. 📍 Digital and classic Large Format showcase several different creative variations of the phrase ‘Wherever We Go’, with 2D extensions included on prominent roadside locations.
