We're looking for a dedicated Casework Manager to join our team and lead with compassion and expertise. What You’ll Do: Provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to a dedicated team of Casework Support Specialists. Oversee casework processes and ensure the delivery of client-centered services. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to expand support resources. Manage complex cases, offering expert advice on risk and case management. Maintain a reduced caseload of clients to ensure high-quality outcomes. Promote a culture of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and professional development within the team. Uphold compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. What We’re Looking For: Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Experience in risk assessment, including child protection and trauma-informed care. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in case management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. JewishCare’s CEO, Gary G., has announced his resignation from JewishCare to take up a new role within the Mental Health NGO sector. In his four years as CEO of JewishCare, Gary has presided over a period of immense change and challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic. Under Gary’s leadership, JewishCare modernised its workforce, improved the quality of care, introduced new mental health initiatives, and underwent a strategic workforce restructure. We are grateful to Gary for his strong leadership and commitment in facing these challenges and implementing much-needed change. As JewishCare embarks on the next phase of its development, the time is right to initiate a process of leadership transition. The JewishCare Board has commenced a recruitment process and, in the meantime, has appointed Michael Gordon into the role of interim CEO. Michael recently joined us as the Director of Financial Strategy and Transformation and is an experienced business leader. Gary’s last day with JewishCare will be 10 May 2024. On behalf of the Board, we thank Gary for his leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to JewishCare during his tenure, and we wish him well in his next chapter.
