⛵ We're excited to announce the recent approval of Jones Bay Marina's upgrade ⛵ With a significant demand and under supply the addition of numerous berths and a revamp of facilities will attract more fantastic resident vessels. . . The long and laborious process of gaining approval culminated last week with a unanimous decision by the City of Sydney council. Jones Bay Marina's general manager Nairn Johnston CMM went on to say "This news is a great outcome for local and visiting superyachts as well as the local trades, businesses and suppliers who service the vessels that berth at our marina." . . Johnston goes on to say that the positive outcome could not have been achieved without the tireless efforts of the entire team including Ethos Urban and Copley Marine Group as well as over 20 specialised sub-consultants. "Today, we want to take a moment to thank our partners for their collective efforts," he said. "We look forward to taking bookings for the new marina additions and to welcoming more yachts to an already exceptional tenant list." . . The marina has become the first official host marina for Seabin’s Smart City program in Sydney, operating five Seabins that have removed over 7055 Kilograms of marine litter and an estimated 1.32million plastic items from Sydney Harbour since 2022. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our mission to advance marine science, conservation, and education through the yachting community.
