🌊 Gwonggubunga Swim Program Highlights! 🌊 Over 3 days this week, a lovely group of young people took part in the Gwonggubunga Swim Program with the KARI QLD team on the Gold Coast, learning essential water safety and surf skills! 🏊♂️ ✔️ Day 1: Pool instruction to perfect swimming techniques ✔️ Day 2: Creek swimming for real-life practice ✔️ Day 3: Beach swimming and refining surf skills 🌊🏖️ Our participants also sharpened their CPR skills before heading into the surf, making sure they’re ready for any situation! 💪 The program wouldn’t be complete without some cultural activities and a shared lunch each day—creating strong bonds and unforgettable memories. A massive thank you to Royal Life Saving Society Queensland Inc for their amazing support in making this program a success! And thanks to AWM Amaroo for partnering with us in delivering this program #GwonggubungaSwim #WaterSafety #SurfSkills #CulturalConnection #KARICommunity #RoyalLifeSavingQLD
