🍗 KFC Games National Championships 2024 🏆 A workplace where our team members learn new skills, can be themselves and have fun is all part of our KFC people promise. We saw that spirit in spades recently at the KFC Games National Championships where, after weeks of qualifying rounds and State playoffs, the best of the best gathered in Adelaide to compete for the national title. Our state finalists came in focused, prepped and ready to go – the training, teamwork and effort they had put in was evident as they were put through their paces. A massive thank you to everyone involved and a HUGE congratulations to our 2024 KFC Games Champions - KFC Lansell (Bendigo, Vic, Aus) 👏 #buildingskills #KFCpeoplepromise #KFCSOPAC #LifeatKFC #hospitalitycareers #kfcrecognition Image: KFC Games National Champions, the KFC Lansell team. This week, we proudly celebrated opening our 800th restaurant in Australia, with the grand opening of KFC Oran Park, on the site of the former Oran Park racing track. It’s a time of continued growth for KFC, now the fastest growing quick-service restaurant in the country. Our Oran Park restaurant is operated by our wonderful franchise partner Southern Restaurants Group and will create 70 new jobs for young people in the southwest Sydney area. Many of our leaders joined the Southern team out at the restaurant to mark the occasion, at what was a wonderful community event. From opening our first restaurant in Guildford in 1968, to celebrating this milestone our latest in Oran Park, we’re feeding KFC fans across the country, and continuing to grow by driving innovation across the industry and being focused on creating an unmatched customer experience in our restaurants. #kfc #kfcsopac #qsr

Happy NAIDOC Week! At KFC we strive to promote equity, inclusion and belonging into the workplace, and we're proud to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples 📣 For the 2nd year in a row we gave our team members the opportunity to design our 2024 NAIDOC Pin for KFC Australia. We're so excited to announce that Kodie Kamaric from KFC Rosny Park was this year's winner! Kodie has created a culturally significant Pin that represents his reflection of his Aboriginal roots and ancestry Kodie, a proud Bunurong man, was born and raised in Hobart, Tasmania, with ancestral ties to the East Coast of Tasmania. Kodie shares that KFC has significantly impacted his life by promoting Indigenous culture and awareness through community engagement and participation. "The circles represent the sun, with the red symbolising the sunset. The lines represent the Earth and the atmosphere we're in..." Keep an eye out for our team members wearing this special pin in your local restaurant!

As we celebrate National Families Week, we are delighted to share some fantastic news! KFC has been reaccredited as a Family Friendly Workplace. At KFC, we understand that our employees are more than just colleagues – they’re parents, siblings, and caregivers with diverse responsibilities. That’s why we’re committed to fostering a flexible and supportive workplace environment that empowers our team to excel both at home and at work. Our equal paid parental leave encourages our new parents to enjoy precious time with their family and our early finish on a Friday are just a couple ways that our employees are supported to do the things that are important to their family. Being part of the KFC family means more than just having a job – it means being part of a community where everyone feels valued, supported and truly at home. Together, we’re building a workplace where everyone can thrive, personally and professionally. #familyfriendlyworkplaces #KFCfamily #Worklifebalance #nationalfamiliesweek Kristi Woolrych Michelle De Luca Ryan Koon Darren Walker Toby Camilleri Tami Cunningham Andrew Deane Nick Garling Amy Cooper Jakob Saville Karly Jones

Happy International Women’s Day from KFC SOPAC! Today we’re celebrating all of the amazing women in our business and the ally’s that encourage and support them to be their best original selves! Every year WGEA (the Workplace Gender Equality Agency) collect data from organisations like ours on career levels and remuneration for males vs females. They use the data to raise awareness and drive action on solving the Gender Pay Gap (GPG) in this country. The latest results were published last week, and we are proud to share that KFC is one of the top performing brands! On the back of some incredible work by passionate leaders and our P&C team, we have reduced our GPG to just 1.1% (median total remuneration). Not only are we outpunching the national benchmark for organisations employing 100 people or more, which was 21.7% this year but we are also significantly outperforming the competitive industry benchmark for our category and organisation size. Our GPG performance is no accident. It reflects our commitment to equity, inclusion and belonging in KFC SOPAC, and our intentional focus on gender equality over the last two years. It’s also evidence of the effort that has gone into ensuring all reward decisions are made without bias and people are paid fairly for the work they do and contribution they make. Some more stats we’re proud of; * We’re one of only 19% of organisations in Australia with a female GM. * Females represent 46% of team members in our stores & 52% in our Restaurant Support Centre (Head Office). * We offer gender neutral equal paid parental leave to primary carers, enabling families more flexibility in navigating family life! #iwd2024 #inspireinclusion #genderpaygap #equity Michelle De Luca Kristi Woolrych Ryan Koon David Mantellini Michael Clark Andrew Deane Toby Camilleri Sally Glover Nicki Small Amy Cooper Karly Jones Daniela Ferri (GRP) Brett Ey Jonathan D'Souza CPHR

As the new year is upon us we’re thrilled to reflect back on an amazing year in 2023! Together with 19 of our franchise partners we have opened an epic 35 net new KFC stores in 2023! This includes opening two amazing flagship stores in Sydney Airport making it easier for our customers to satisfy their KFC cravings. A BIG SHOUT OUT to our Franchise partners and their development teams who are out there pounding the pavement to find sites, do deals and build the best brand building assets in Australia and New Zealand. We opened a staggering 10 stores in the last week giving many some sleepless nights! Anyone who has opened a store knows that it is not easy, and it can only happen with a lot of work in the background from a lot of people. We wanted to give a very sincere thanks to our wider teams for making this possible. 1. Our incredible consultants who are across the brand standards, are advocates for the brand and bring our vision to life 2. Our awesome builders, who deliver brand building assets every time 3. Our wonderful internal teams – Development, the Equipment Distribution Centre, Legal, Finance and IT – who go over and above to ensure the stores are brand building, kitted out and ready to open 4. The entire RSC who work daily to support our expansion plans 5. And last but not least our AMAZINGER Operators and P&C teams who get our teams ready to open the doors and sell the Colonels Finger Lickin’ Good Chicken. Congratulations to everyone at KFC who opened a store in 2023 it’s been a mammoth effort, we look forward to opening even more stores in 2024. #KFCSOPAC #EPIC #AMAZING2023 #35NNU Kristi Woolrych Ryan Koon Darren Walker Michelle De Luca Michael Clark Toby Camilleri Tami Cunningham Sally Glover Andrew Deane Amanda Glossop Alyce More
