We know that business is tough for many organisations at the moment. Now more than ever, senior management is under pressure to understand and measure impact and focus on what drives success and customer satisfaction. We now need to understand our customers inside out. Their needs are constantly changing and that may mean our value proposition needs to adapt as a result. Businesses that remain open and flexible will do best during these tricky times. In our recent webinar 'How can you demonstrate L&D value to your C-suite?', colleagues from across the wider business and Fosway Group discussed the importance of both soft and hard skills during this period. Our latest guide 'Securing C-suite buy-in: effective approaches for L&D' delves into how to align L&D with strategic business goals, alongside strategies for demonstrating ROI and more. Check out the comment section for full details + a link to download the full webinar too.

We believe successful organisations need to embrace the power of lifelong learning. And, the companies that prioritise learning and technology will be the ones that are still standing strong in the next 5-10 years. How can organisations effectively plan for our learning-obsessed future though? By employing a Chief Learning Officer of course! Your Chief Learning Officer's passion is deeply rooted in learning being essential to organisational success (and employee happiness). They believe that by nurturing staff skills (and learning culture), their organisation will likely have a brighter future. And, why do they campaign for a better learning culture? So that leaders get more time, budget and headspace to ensure learning is at the top of everyone’s agenda. Read out latest blog, where we reveal 5 reasons why every organisation needs a Chief Learning Officer... https://lnkd.in/gJhzXw58

As we're nearing the end of the year, what impact do you think AI has had across the L&D sector? Earlier this year, Fosway Group’s Digital Learning Realities report on AI found that over 60% of professionals saw at least some impact on their L&D function, and 38% expected it to have a great deal of impact in the future. How much do you think these figures have increased throughout the year? We now know that AI is here to stay and is a tool to enhance our productivity and effectiveness. At times this has felt scary, but mostly it's felt exciting. Our blog 'The impact and influence of AI on L&D teams in 2024' was one our most read this year. How do you think our skills will continue to evolve over the coming months? https://lnkd.in/eNGNnYZ3

How can we keep injecting the human element into L&D? Cammy Bean recently spoke during our joint webinar with Totara about the importance of listening to real voices to ensure there's authenticity in what we're doing. By using stories and/or data from real people, it creates that element of relatability and relevance for the learner. And as a result we can create more memorable learning experiences. Cammy says: 'When we give real voices to an experience, we provide emotional impact' - This insightful clip is from our recent joint webinar with Totara, 'Embracing the human element in the age of AI: Human-centered learning design,' with our colleagues Cammy Bean and Matthew Mella. For years, we've relied on a linear economy with a 'take-make-dispose' approach that exhausts resources, creates products, and then discards them. In a time of relentless consumption and disposable convenience, the circular economy offers a compelling alternative by envisioning a future where resources are perpetually reused, and nothing is wasted. This aims to keep products and materials in circulation, extending their lifecycle and reducing waste. Circular Economy training is included in our ESG training suite, equipping employees with the knowledge to make informed decisions on procurement and processes that align with circular economy principles, driving towards a more sustainable future.
