About us

We help workplaces, schools and parents create a culture of consent and become more inclusive of LGBTIQA+ communities. We're all about having frank discussions that promote meaningful change. You only need to look at the news to recognise a need for improvement when it comes to consent. From over 6000 young people providing harrowing testimonies of sexual assault in a petition for better consent education, to the scandals erupting out of parliament, it’s clear that we have a systemic problem that requires a widespread cultural shift. We’ve set out to drive this shift by helping people better understand what consent really looks like and embed consent-based practices into their everyday interactions. Founded by two former high-school teachers, we understand just how vital it is to provide professional development that is highly engaging, easily digestible and focuses on practical strategies that can be easily adopted. These principles guide all of our workshops, which we can deliver both in-person and online. As members of LGBTIQA+ communities ourselves, we’ve experienced firsthand some of the barriers faced by those who identify as LGBTIQA+. It’s these experiences that have sparked a passion for helping schools and workplaces become safer and more inclusive. We take an intersectional approach to our consent and inclusion training, consulting with and incorporating the voices of people from diverse backgrounds. Our workshops are centered around the needs of specific schools and workplaces. Main areas we specialise in helping: -teachers embed consent into their everyday classroom practice -teachers with teaching a (mandatory) age-appropriate consent education curriculum at every year level, that includes coercion, gendered stereotypes and power imbalances -school staff support LGBTIQA+ students & promote a culture of inclusion -businesses become safer and more inclusive of LGBTIQA+ staff and clients We are a Certified Social Enterprise
