A Spotlight on our Sponsorship team this week 💡 🌟 Kristy Rosser joined the Sponsorship News Activation Showcase at Marvel Stadium to discuss why brands are attracted to live music activations alongside Hayden Abercrombie from Diageo, Florencia Aimo from Mastercard and Don Elford from ASM Global (APAC). The panel, moderated by Paul Den from the Banter Agency, highlighted the important role brands play in amplifying live music experiences for passionate audiences which has resulted in unparalleled brand loyalty. From delivering first and exclusive access tickets at pre-sale to launching programs for emerging artists to activating on-ground at a festival. Our research shows that more than two-thirds of fans recall live music events as some of their most memorable life moments, so this was an insightful discussion to have among brands and sponsorship teams in the activation space. 🌟 Ahead of the Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE> this Saturday at Allianz Stadium in Sydney, Erica Valenti shared her insights with Mumbrella on what brands can learn from Asian Pop artists amid its meteoric rise around the world. With 97% of fans wanting to see more Australian brands partner with Asia Pop idols and support the Asian community, it's clear that there's an opportunity for artists, fans and brands to come together to amplify this global genre on the cusp of explosion. Due to phenomenal demand, a 5th and final Australian date has been added for Oasis Live ’25. Michael Coppel, Chairman of Live Nation Australasia, commented: “The Oasis onsales have been a huge success with thousands of happy fans snapping up tickets to one of the most highly anticipated tours in history. The feedback from fans has been overwhelmingly positive saying the registration process and sale today was smooth, and some commenting that it was the easiest ticket purchase they’ve ever made.” To provide extra protection for fans, Victorian Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events Steve Dimopoulos this week announced a major event ticketing declaration for Oasis’ Melbourne concerts. Declaring the concert a major event will help deter scalpers from snatching up highly coveted tickets, allowing more Victorian fans to be a part of the Gallagher brothers’ momentous return to Australia. 🎟️ Tickets on sale 12pm AEDT Friday 18 October: lvntn.com/Oasis25
