One of Australia’s largest privately-initiated urban renewal projects has been placed on public exhibition until 25 November 2024. We encourage our community and interested stakeholders to have their say by lodging a submission here: https://lnkd.in/gEbfmZp7 The purpose of the Planning Proposal is to facilitate the development of a 31.4 hectare mixed-use Precinct – the equivalent of around 43 football fields. The Planning Proposal was lodged by Coronation Property and Leamac Property Group (the Joint Landowner Group) in 2020, which seeks to rezone an industrial zone at Moore Point, Moorebank, and redevelop into a high-density, mixed-use precinct. The Master Plan will be delivered in three stages over an anticipated delivery timeline of between 30 and 40 years. It is proposed to deliver 40% of dwellings in the first stage. The Precinct is expected to include: 🏠 Residential Development: Approximately 11,000 dwellings, with a potential future population of 21,000. 🏢 Commercial & Retail Space: Approximately 346,000m2 of floor space, including: 📐 Approximately 160,000m² of new commercial office floor space, equivalent to approximately 50% of the existing floor space in the Liverpool CBD). 📐 Approximately 167,000m2 of new retail floor space (shops, hospitality, supermarkets and events/showrooms). This is approximately twice the floor space of the existing Westfield Shopping Centre in Liverpool. 🏫 School Infrastructure: A primary school for 1,000 students, with potential for a second. 🌳 Open Space: 10 hectares of public space, including Georges River foreshore and a large central park. 🏗️ Community Infrastructure: Facilities and pedestrian bridges connecting to the Liverpool CBD. 🔗 For more info and to make a submission, visit: https://lnkd.in/gEbfmZp7 Submissions must be received by 25 November 2024. We now have an agreement in place to achieve a 96% recovery rate with Cleanaway/ResourceCo for the mattress flock. Thanks to Cleanaway and ResourceCo for working with us to get this wonderful result.” We encourage residents and businesses to use it for themselves, learn more by visiting: https://ow.ly/yyJE50TJnZI 🔗 To read more on the announcement, visit: https://ow.ly/YI1Z50TJnZW 📰 NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) -- #KeepAustraliaBeautifulAwards2024 #LiverpoolCityCouncil

Liverpool joins in celebrating a fantastic milestone in the development of the Western Sydney International Airport. Our city looks forward to welcoming visitors to the great southwest. -- #LiverpoolCityCouncil
We have great momentum at Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport with the first light aircraft landing on our brand new 3.7km runway to conduct important testing and commissioning works on our Aeronautical Ground Lights and High Intensity Approach Lights. We witnessed yesterday’s historic landing outside our Experience Centre overlooking the runway with a crowd of excited visitors, community members and Sydney’s media. While it was a proud moment for me personally to watch the plane land on our completed runway, I’m super proud of our highly committed team at WSI and contractor partners for their countless hours of expert effort preparing for the airport’s opening in late 2026. Congratulations to everyone involved. We are on track to welcome customers in 2 years. #WesternSydney #WSI
