Congratulations to MicroBioGen, who were crowned winners at the 2024 Premier’s NSW Export Awards in the Resources and Energy category. Spun out of technology developed at Macquarie University by co-founders Paul Attfield, Phillip Bell and Geoffrey Bell, MicroBioGen produces world-leading micro-organisms that are essential to industries worth over US$2 trillion per year, including biofuels, alternative proteins, space exploration, sustainable human foods and animal feed. Macquarie University is proud to be part of this Australian-grown innovation success story and wishes MicroBioGen the best of luck for the national awards in Canberra next month. #MacquarieUniversity
