How will cultivated meat shape the future of food production? 🌱 Sustainability: Cultivated meat drastically reduces the environmental footprint compared to conventional animal farming. Production uses significantly less water and land while cutting greenhouse gas emissions, helping mitigate climate change. 🍽️ Food Security: By cultivating meat in a controlled environment, we’re less reliant on the unpredictable nature of traditional farming. Whether it’s droughts or supply chain disruptions, cultivated meat offers a stable, reliable source of protein. 🐷 Ethical Production: Our process involves absolutely no harm to animals, which means more ethical choices for consumers. Cultivated meat allows you to enjoy real meat without compromising on values. 📈 Innovation: Cultivated meat is a revolutionary step forward in a movement towards optimising our food systems by reducing their climate impact and removing harm to animals - and this is only the beginning. Imagine meat that’s healthier for you and tailored to your dietary needs - with cultivated meat technology, optimising the nutritional profiles of meat products is possible for the future. We’re committed to pushing boundaries, driving change, and bringing a better food future to your table. What excites you most about the possibilities of cultivated meat? How do we create cultivated meat that tastes just like the real thing? The secret lies in stem cells! With our cutting-edge technology, we start with a tiny sample of skin cells and turn them into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). These iPSCs can then be transformed into muscle, fat, or any other cell found in meat, delivering the same taste and texture as conventional meat — no compromise. By using this process, we’re not just creating a delicious alternative to conventional meat, we’re also contributing to a more sustainable, ethical, and innovative food system. Did you know that most infectious diseases in humans originate from animals? These diseases which can jump from animals to humans are called zoonotic diseases. They can infect both people handling animals on farms, as well as those who come into contact with products made from infected animals. Meanwhile, cultivated meat is produced in a controlled environment and can be carefully regulated. Cultivated meat is significantly less prone to biological risk and disease, making it safer to produce than conventional meat. #foodsafety #foodtech #altprotein Paul Bevan Andrew Laslett Jacob Goodwin Wendy Chua Ella Jenkins

Did you know that agriculture makes up about 70% of the world's freshwater consumption? 💧 As the population grows and global food demand rises, the amount of water required for food production will increase - but freshwater is a limited resource. It's predicted that 1 in 5 developing countries will face water shortages by 2050. Cultivated meat uses 96% less water than conventional meat, meaning it could lessen the strain on our resources. It's important that we adopt food production practices that use less water right now, in order to protect the future of our most vulnerable populations. #environment #food #foodtech Paul Bevan Andrew Laslett Jacob Goodwin Wendy Chua Ella Jenkins
