Products and solutions shouldn't be painful! Yet, we have all encountered products or services that only add to our problem, not solve them! Whether it is via our product or the customer service we provide, making things quicker, easier and painless is our ultimate goal. At Med Apps, going the extra mile for our customers is part of our DNA. Have you experienced this with other companies? Okay...we set the bar pretty low. But we've decided to up the ante! With an initial target of $500, we are humbled to see the early support from our community towards Movember. A very special thank you to those who have contributed thus far! With our initial target almost reached, we've decided to have an even bigger goal, raising our target to $2000 towards men's health 💪 It's only 4 days in but our Mo's are already taking shape and our target steps are well underway. If you would like to show support too, see the QR code in the poster or see the comments below👇 #Movember #MensHealth #SuicidePrevention #MentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealth

One week to go! We’re getting ready for Prevoc 2025 in Darwin! The Med App team has been going since 2017(!!) and we are looking forward to getting together with clinicians, educators and other leaders from across the prevocational medical landscape. There’s been lots of changes over the past 12 months (and more coming in the next), combined with sector wide workforce challenges and limited resources we are keen to share and contribute to innovative solutions that help raise the level of training, confidence and wellbeing for our Junior Doctor cohort. Come find the Med App stand to have a chat to founder Rob Pearlman or team members Ben Rowland and Duncan Paradice (also come find us for a chance to get a hold of a fancy bottle of champers). See you in beautiful (build up) Darwin! #MedApps #Prevoc2025 #MedicalEducation #JuniorDoctors #Darwin

We’re celebrating 4K 🎉 But not in the way you may think! Since going live with our new forms feature at our pilot sites, we’ve had a whopping >4000 forms completed. That’s a lot of paper, ink and more importantly, time saved through digitised forms in Med App. Currently, Med App is being used as a digital alternative to paper for: - Work-based Assessments (WBA) - Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise (Mini-CEX) - Multi-source Feedback - Direct Observation of Procedural Skills (DOPS) - Entrustable professional activities (EPAs) - Overtime and Recall - ANSAT (Australian Nursing Standards Assessment Tool) And we’re super excited about what’s on the horizon for Medicine and Nursing/Midwifery… Performance and Development forms, Quality Improvement Activity sheet, Clinical Assessment Tools, Competency Assessments plus more! #Doctors #Nursing #Hospitals #HealthTech #DigitalHealth

We’re excited for November…. Because Med Apps is supporting Movember! It’s that special time of year when you don’t need permission to flaunt some whiskers. Perhap it's handlebars, the pencil or the walrus, whatever the style, the choice is yours! The team here at Med Apps will be proudly donning mo's to raise funds and awareness for some biggest issues impacting men’s health such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide. We would love for you to get behind us and the cause! All donations are welcome and there is no donation too small. To date, donations to Movember have been used to fund 1320 men’s health projects around the world! #Movember #MensHealth #MentalHealth #MentalHealthMatters #Health https://lnkd.in/g3tTj5y5

"Why are you not on Instagram?" Fair question... At the recent Australian College of Nursing Conference, we were asked this question by many of the nurses visiting our booth. So to meet demand, Med Apps is now on Instagram too! If you follow us here on LinkedIn, we would also love to have you follow us there as well 😀 #MedApps #HealthTech #Hospitals #Doctors #Nursing

Med Apps' in action again! This time we're at the 2024 Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM) Asia-Pacific Health Leadership Congress in Brisbane. It was great to see our Med Apps Founder/CEO Dr. Rob Pearlman showcasing the positive impact Med App makes on the Quadruple Aim in Healthcare. With Med App deployed across 80 Hospitals in Australia, NZ and the UK, our approach has focused on tried and tested methodologies and applied them to healthcare. By providing a first-class orientation experience, clinicians are more engaged, better prepared for work, and more likely to be retained. With eyes set on the quadruple aim, Med App contributes to positive work experience for clinicians, while also helping to reduce costs through time savings and retention. If you're at Asia-Pacific Health Leadership Congress 2024, make sure you say hello to Rob! #HealthTech #Hospitals #HealthCare #QuadrupleAim #Innovation

Seeing is believing! One of our remote hospital EDs experienced real improvements after piloting Med App with their permanent and agency nursing staff. Shortly after piloting Med App, Alice Springs ED saw a dramatic increase in engagement with resources PLUS increased nurse satisfaction due to the innovative and accessible information for new starters. Making orientation more personalised is one of our key goals and this is exactly what happened in this facility: "....staff could easily access critical information before they even arrived, preparing them to “hit the ground running” from day one. Med App’s personalised elements—such as a local “bucket list” of things to do in the area—added a sense of excitement to the transition..." Want to read more?
