MTS continues with its award winning innovations in rail. This time, it was a special high commendation for the Best use of Technology for Learning at the recent Australian Institute of Training & Development - AITD National 2024 awards. Our interactive Station Familiarisation e-learning module program, which ensured our staff were ready for City opening by providing virtual tours of their new environments, was cited as an outstanding contribution to the practice of learning and development. Congratulations to MTS’ L&D team whose innovative solution offered staff immersive training at their own pace. At MTS, Safety First is a core value and a commitment to the wellbeing of our people. We utilise days like R U OK? Day to help create habits and a psychologically safe working environment by encouraging our teams to take regular breaks and consistently check in on each other, as well as on themselves. With a business wide meeting block out in place, our people were encouraged to take some personal time or ask their colleagues how they were doing. We had the team from StretchLab Dural on site, providing 15 minute sessions to all staff, promoting the importance of movement and the benefits of taking time out. #ruok #wellbeing #mentalhealth #safetyfirst
