Last week, Migration Queensland and Trade and Investment Queensland hosted 30 business migrants for a jam packed three-day investment roadshow of the Bundaberg and Fraser Coast region. It was a great opportunity to showcase the diverse investment opportunities the region has to offer: from horticulture to manufacturing; timber mills and tourism related prospects. The opportunity for development and investment in the region is immense, with the region experiencing growth in population, jobs and gross regional product. Thank you to our partners Bundaberg Regional Council and Fraser Coast Regional Council for showing us the investment and lifestyle potential of your regions. Thank you also to all the participating businesses for making the roadshow a success: Nutrano Produce Group, Gina's Table, Macadamias Australia, Okara, Bundaberg Port Marina, Baywood, @BtB Marine and ORECO GROUP.

🏆 Migration Queensland would like to congratulate the outstanding winners and nominees of the Queensland Filipino Excellence Awards 2024 held at Brisbane City Hall.   More than 70,000 Filipinos and Australians of Filipino heritage call Queensland their home, and we are proud to have sponsored and supported this event to recognise outstanding members of the community. Filipino migrants make significant contributions to the Queensland workforce and strengthen our people-to-people and economic ties with the Philippines.   We were also honoured to have attended with 3 Queensland-nominated Filipino skilled migrants in nursing, construction, and biotechnology.
