MindFx is transforming the mental health outcomes of young adults. You may or may not know that the incidence of diagnosable mental health conditions in young Australians, aged 18-27 years, is the highest of any age group. In addition, the service gap to support these young individuals is the greatest in this age bracket. The available services/activities available to support their recovery plans or pathways is fragmented, inefficient and not tailored or conducive to lasting recovery and hence many clients are caught up in the futile cycle of in and out of hospital with little chance of real recovery. MindFx have the solutions to make a real difference and is on a mission to transform the mental health outcomes of our young adults. About us
MindFx will provide a centre-based, community response to best practice integrated person-centred services for young adults (18-27 years old) who have had a lived experience of mental illness and the families and carers supporting those persons. Our first centre in Brisbane is almost ready for opening. MindFx Limited is an Australian Public Company that is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) and is endorsed as a deductible gift recipient (DGR).
