I have spoken to several candidates recently who have accepted new roles which is a good sign of course. Some of these candidates have taken a step down in role level, salary package or daily rate. The decisions that these candidates have made have been for multiple reasons which include Financial and others. This period means that people have had to learn how to network and job hunt which is a full time job in itself. In 25 years of Executive Search and Recruitment, one thing is absolutely certain - CHANGE. I am very conscious that there are still some great people on the market.
