We at MUAS would like to extend a massive thanks to RFDesign Pty Ltd. RFDesign has generously donated us some of their 900ux Ultra Long Range Radio Modems, truly the best things come in small packages! With these modems, our drones climb onwards and upwards with automated flight paths ensuring accuracy and enabling the rapid diagnosis of any issues enabled through its long-range live communication of telemetry data. All this on top of being the smallest and lightest radio modem in its class! Everyone at MUAS is looking forward to the many possibilities of this collaboration! #RFDesign #dronetech #telemetry #drones #radiomodems

It is always so exciting and inspirational to see our team members using their time and efforts at MUAS to assist other humanitarian efforts!
Remote Piloted Aerial Systems (RPAS) are a new era of technology in search and rescue. RPAS has significantly elevated beach safety by providing lifesavers with a birds-eye view of the coastline. The RPAS service offers crucial support for our lifesaving clubs’ beach patrols while also expanding our operations in search and rescue, major disasters, and lifesaving aquatic events. Read more about the vital service RPAS offers lifesavers needing an aerial perspective to identify hazards such as rip currents, marine life, and overcrowded areas more efficiently.

Thank you St Kevin's College Toorak for hosting us! We had a fantastic time working with the Year 10 and 11 students and our passion. Happy Science Week!
We've had a fantastic Science Week 2024 at Heyington and Waterford! Students enjoyed exciting experiments like a rocket fuel demonstration, constructing a Da Vinci bridge and toasting marshmallows using a solar oven. A standout moment was Monash Uncrewed Aerial Systems visit, where some Year 10 and 11 students delved into aerial systems and operations. This was followed by the House Drone Competition through Smith Hall, with staff and students eagerly cheering on the participants. Thank you to Monash Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) for their visit and our wonderful Science department for creating such an enjoyable and engaging week of science.

Thank you so much for coming Paul!
🌿 Paul Sinclair, Wildlife Drones' Environmental Sales Consultant, was blown away by the professionalism exhibited by the students at the Monash Uncrewed Aerial Systems Showcase held in Melbourne last night. He was truly impressed by the innovative capabilities of the Albatross UAS showcased there. The drone has the capability to lift off vertically, before transferring to fixed wing flight. Over the coming year, the Monash UAS team will shift their focus towards hydrogen propulsion, and creating a new UAS with a focus on increasing flight range to weight ratios. Are you interested in learning more about how drones can be used in conservation work? Book a call with Paul today! https://hubs.ly/Q02lLfpD0 Monash University #drones #uas #uncrewedaerialsystems
