  • Happy birthday to the Djerring Flemington Hub! 🎂🥳 We can't believe it's already been a year 🤯 Yesterday, we celebrated this milestone with the local community, reflecting on the many events held, programs facilitated and memories made over the last 12 months. This Hub has become the beating heart of the Flemington community, and it was so special to see so many of you come along to celebrate with us. Here's to many more years of laughter, learning, and happiness within these walls 💚

  • Moonee Valley City Council is in the process of establishing “Marra Wirrigirri” (Community Messengers) First Peoples Advisory Committee. For MVCC, Reconciliation is about Aboriginal self-determination and giving Aboriginal People a say over things that matter to them. The purpose of Marra Wirrigirri will be to elevate First Peoples Voices and prioritise Reconciliation initiatives across Council, in line with commitments in Council’s Reconciliation Action Plan, Bagarru Bagarru Djerring. We would like to invite any First Peoples living, working, or playing in Moonee Valley or surrounding areas who may be interested in becoming a Committee member, please come along to this session to learn more about it. Come along to our information session to find out more about the Committee. 📍 Djerring Flemington Hub 📅 Monday 16 September 🕤9:30am-12:30pm Following the event, our friends at the Victorian Electoral Commission will host a short information session about registering to vote. ✏️ Learn more and register to attend at https://ow.ly/bYH650Th0Ts
