Reinventing Wi-Fi for the IoT
About us
Morse Micro is a fast-growing fabless semiconductor company developing Wi-Fi HaLow solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT) market that can reach 10x the range of conventional Wi-Fi technology and last many years on a single battery. The company was founded by Wi-Fi pioneers and innovators, Michael De Nil and Andrew Terry, joined by the original Wi-Fi inventor Prof. Neil Weste and wireless industry veterans, whose teams designed Wi-Fi chips into billions of smartphones. Headquartered in Australia with offices in China, India and the U.S., Morse Micro’s strong and diverse system team, portfolio of IP and patents, enables Wi-Fi HaLow connectivity across the complete IoT ecosystem, from surveillance systems and access control to industrial automation and mobile devices, allowing connected devices to reach farther.

We had an amazing time last week at Wireless Global Congress EMEA! Our VP of Global Sales & Business Development, Shrinath Keskar, took to the stage for a presentation on the Wi-Fi HaLow difference in enterprise #IoT environments. Long-range connectivity, better penetration through physical barriers, and robust layered security make Wi-Fi HaLow ideally suited for the complex demands of enterprise applications such as building access/management systems and security cameras.
Onstage at #WGCEMEA: Shrinath Keskar, Morse Micro, shares the benefits that #WiFi #HaLow can bring to enterprise settings.

To demonstrate the maximum potential of Wi-Fi HaLow, we headed to Joshua Tree National Park in the California desert. Our setup achieved a world record for a stable Wi-Fi connection — 2 Mbps at nearly 10 miles from the access point. See how we did it in this PC World article ⬇
This Wi-Fi system can stretch for almost 10 miles

The news of our nearly 10-mile Wi-Fi HaLow range demonstration is featured in Tom's Hardware 👇 💬 "This seems to correspond to the theoretical maximum HaLow range of 15.9 kilometers — and starts making HaLow seem a lot more sensible for outdoor work including farming without needing to rely on expensive cellular data or poor cellular coverage." Get the full scoop from Christopher Harper ➡ https://lnkd.in/gHPDQtpe #WiFiHaLow #longrange #wirelessconnectivity
HaLow Wi-Fi has now been tested at 9.9 miles — new Wi-Fi world record is a near 5X increase over previous best
