To kick off Ausmusic Month we’re excited to announce that applications for the Touring and Travel Fund are now open! The new expanded fund responds to the year-round and time-critical nature of live performance and networking opportunities, offering grants of up to $2,500 per person for domestic activity and up to $5,000 per person for international activity. Assessed monthly, the fund will enable NSW-based artists and industry professionals to travel for what is often major career-defining breaks. We’re thrilled to be supporting the Touring and Travel Fund for a second year, with the program set to build on the success of the 2023/24 fund which injected $2.6 million in support of 179 tours and professional networking activities. The funding will provide a much-needed boost to the state’s contemporary music industry, with musicians and industry professionals to be supported year-round to travel and connect with new audiences and industry contacts locally and internationally.
