Our journey started in 2020 with a vision: to ensure that "All Australian buildings are healthy, comfortable, and environmentally friendly." After extensive collaboration with state education departments and industry experts, and a successful pilot with over forty-five schools, we’ve developed a system that truly meets schools’ unique needs. Non-government schools can take advantage of a 50% discount on their first NABERS rating lodgement fee until May 30, 2025. NABERS is expanding to Co-Assess for Shopping Centres and Retail Stores, and we invite you to work with us to build a rating tool that meets your organisational needs. We will be holding an advisory panel on the 12th of September.    The tool will enable Retail Stores tenancies to get NABERS ratings alongside the Shopping Centre’s energy rating, similar to the existing Co-Assess for Business rating tool. This new rating tool for Co-assess will be able to measure, manage and improve the environmental efficiency of your entire Shopping Centre site.    If you are a Shopping Centre owner, Retail Store owner/tenant or an industry expert we invite you to help us shape this important rating tool. Last week, we held a successful training webinar for our newest tool, the NABERS Energy Performance Indicator. This is a new simple energy rating tool from NABERS for many sectors which do not have a standalone NABERS energy rating tool available to them. During the session, our Assessors dived into: ✅ The background and context of the new tool ✅ Engaging, interactive quiz questions ✅ Sector eligibility ✅ Example scenarios ✅ How to conduct an Energy Performance Indicator rating We're proud to announce that we will soon have a team of NABERS Assessors accredited to rate buildings that are eligible for the tool.
