  •  🟢 QLD - We are open 🟢 Our branches in QLD were not impacted by Ex Tropical Cyclone Alfred, so we are ready to resume service and to help. Geebung and Robina are open today and Sumner will be open tomorrow. If you have an existing booking with us we will be in touch to reconfirm, or if needed, to reschedule, as we understand some customers may still be affected or unable to travel. For any new bookings, please call our Contact Centre on 1300 36 36 32. Although the storm has passed, rain and wind are still serious concerns. Avoid driving if you can, as flooding makes it very risky to be on the roads. We know that there has been a considerable amount of damage and disruption and our thoughts are with those that have been impacted in the community.

Cyclone Alfred: Vehicle Protection Tips As Cyclone Alfred approaches South East QLD and Northern NSW, it’s time to take precautions - not just for your home but for your vehicle as well. Severe storms can cause significant vehicle damage, especially to the windscreen and rear glass, leading to costly repairs and safety risks. Here are four essential steps to protect you and your vehicle during the storm: ✔️ Repair Windscreen Chips – Inspect, protect or if there is still time, repair windscreen chips. A minor chip can quickly become a major crack under high wind pressure and debris impact. Early repairs can prevent full replacements. ✔️ Secure Your Vehicle – Ideally park your cars in a garage, under cover or a shelter, or use heavy-duty tarpaulin and blankets to reduce the risk of damage from falling objects. ✔️ Prepare An Emergency Kit – Store essentials like non-perishable foods, water, medication, first aid package, change of clothes, sleeping bags, flashlight and important documents close to hand in case of sudden evacuations. ✔️ Avoid Driving In Dangerous Conditions – Cyclonic winds and heavy rainfall can make driving hazardous, with low visibility and the risk of flying debris. Your safety comes first. If your vehicle glass gets damaged, National Windscreens is ready to assist with fast, reliable repairs once the storm clears. Stay safe, Queensland. https://lnkd.in/ejaFsa53 #CycloneAlfred #VehicleSafety #WindscreenRepair #WindscreenReplacement #VehicleGlassProtection
