Celebrating International Women's Day! 💜 Yesterday, our team was out and about for International Women's Day, joining events across the country to be part of important conversations about rights, equality and empowerment for ALL women and girls. In Adelaide, team members attended the International Women's Day Breakfast, hosted by UN Women Australia, where speakers shared real world actions making a difference in gender equality. Over in Sydney, we joined an event hosted by Tania Gomez Consulting and One Community, with a great lineup of speakers discussing how we can accelerate action for women in the sector. Adelaide NDIS Community – South Free suicide prevention training course for disability front line workers. Informed by the latest research in suicide prevention, Wesley Mission has developed a quality suite of suicide prevention training. Aimed at equipping attendees with the knowledge and skills to identify the signs that someone may be at risk and the appropriate action to take. Effective interventions can make a real difference and save lives.
