This meeting marked a milestone as we presented our Manifesto—a strategic roadmap designed to position the Netherlands as a global tech leader💡 Crafted by the ten NTS Tech Champions with valuable input from our launch event guests, this Manifesto is all the more impactful thanks to their support and insights. As Founder of Nicolab, I strongly feel we need to take action to advance healthcare technology, and drive better patient outcomes and lower the burden on our precious healthcare system. Today marks the launch of the Tech Champions Manifest – a pivotal moment for deep-tech scale-ups and the future of technology in the Netherlands! 🇳🇱 As founder of a MedTech company (Nicolab) and as one of the authors of the manifesto, I am proud to stand alongside fellow innovators in advocating for the ecosystem we need to thrive. We’ve outlined clear steps to accelerate growth, ensure consistent long-term policy, and foster an environment where technology can address societal challenges and fuel our economic future Our Manifest calls for: 👉 Consistent, long-term policy that supports scale-ups over the next 10-20 years. 👉 Faster, streamlined access to resources – from subsidies to public infrastructure – enabling tech companies to move at the speed of innovation. 👉 Collaborative risk-taking between government, universities, and the private sector to ensure deep-tech scale-ups can thrive and compete on a global stage. The Netherlands has a rich history of innovation, but we must act swiftly to build the infrastructure that will allow our scale-ups to lead globally. Let’s unite and make this vision a reality! Our launch event was a great success!
