North Melbourne has officially welcomed Luke Parker and Jacob Konstanty to Arden St after agreeing to a trade with the Sydney Swans. The Roos receive Parker and Konstanty in exchange for 2024 Telstra AFL Draft Selection No.44. "Luke's been an incredibly reliable player and leader for Sydney over a number of years and will offer a wealth of knowledge from his experience at a consistent, finals-hardened club like the Swans," head of football talent Brady Rawlings said. "And Jacob's career is only just beginning. His playing style and ability to apply pressure in the forward line has really stood out to us. We see potential in his football ability and look forward to him getting to work."

In the lead-up to Sunday's AFLW Pride Round game against the Sydney Swans at North Hobart Oval, we were fortunate as a club to be joined online by Liv Hogarth from Working It Out Inc (WIO), Tasmania's sexuality, gender and intersex support, education and advocacy service. WIO provides support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and gender diverse, intersex, queer and asexual Tasmanians as well as education and capacity building for schools, workplaces, government and non-government organisations. Liv leads the Everyone Can Play – LGBTIQA+ Inclusion in Sport project. This project aims to increase physical activity for LGBTIQA+ people through the provision of education, information and resources to the sport and recreation sector to develop and embed LGBTIQA+ inclusive policies and practices. On Tuesday morning Liv took us through significant moments in Tasmania's LGBTQIA+ history, from the experience of early European settlers to the hard-won rights and recognition of the 1990s through to the present.

North Melbourne has secured West Coast Eagles premiership forward Jack Darling in a swap for a fourth-round selection (currently pick No.67). Darling played 298 games and kicked 532 goals in a celebrated career with the Eagles. "We were looking to add some support to our forward line, and we're excited about what a player like Jack can bring", general manager of football Todd Viney said. "We know he’ll be a great sounding board and support for players like Nick Larkey and Cam Zurhaar, and he’s excited about helping us in our journey back up the ladder."

"Connection and having that village is really important … the program allows people to see different people, plan to be that person and have a goal to work towards." Our latest Freestyle event hosted at The Huddle created a space for women and non-binary people to fast-track their career development, and network with industry leaders! AFLW superstars Libby Birch and Jasmine Garner also inspired attendees as they shared their experiences, both having broken barriers in male-dominated fields. A big thank you to our Freestyle partners who make events like this possible: Empowered Women In Trades (EWIT) Group Australia, DEWALT, RedZed, Laing O'Rourke, DuluxGroup and CSR Limited.
