We are pleased to advise that our wholly owned subsidiary, Golding has signed a Mining Services Agreement (MSA) with Stanmore at the South Walker Creek Mine in Central Queensland. The MSA has a total value of approximately $1.6B over a 5-year term commencing in January 2026 and provides employment to approximately 650 personnel mostly residing within the region. We are pleased to announce that NRW Civil & Mining has been awarded a development contract for BHP at the Jimblebar mine in the East Pilbara. The scope of the contract includes various civil, building, mechanical and electrical works to support sustainable production at Jimblebar. The contract is valued at approximately $109 million and will commence in November 2024. The project is scheduled for completion in Q2 2026 and will employ a team of up to 120 personnel and 55 items of plant and equipment. We are pleased to announce that NRW has been awarded a contract by Evolution Mining (Mungari) Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Evolution Mining Limited (ASX:EVN), for surface mining at Castle Hill. The works to be performed include load and haul, drill and blast and construction of site supporting facilities. The drill and blast component will be undertaken by Action Drill & Blast, a subsidiary of NRW Holdings Limited. The anticipated value of the contract is circa $360 million commencing November 2024 and expected to be completed by mid-2030. The project will average 150 personnel. One such reflection was from NRW Mining Engineer, Phoebe. She particularly enjoyed the Mythbusting panel on the second day. “In listening to the inspiring stories of all speakers, it was great to see how male senior leaders are also advocating and implementing strategies that ensure women can overcome potential bias barriers. We’re very excited to share that Ian Prior has now joined our team as HSE Advisor! He’s kicked off his new career with a bang, starting with our NRW Civil & Mining team at Karara. “I’ve enjoyed getting into the workings of site life and how all the departments work together and are interconnected. I’ve also really enjoyed how tight the crews are, which isn’t too dissimilar to professional sport where you can spend a large chunk of time together, as a result, you get to know your coworkers (or teammates) really well,” comments Ian, adding, “everyone is here to do a job and look after each other.” Welcome to the team, Ian!
