In April this year, Optus Stadium launched its permanent Sensory Room with the wonderful support of many stakeholders. After a successful implementation during the AFL season, international football and international rugby, hundreds of patrons have been able to use the new facilities for their individual sensitivities. Pictured below are the members of the Stadium's Access and Inclusion User Group, a group that has been an integral part of Optus Stadium since its planning phase and who continue to meet regularly to provide important perspective on how we can continue to provide a high level of service for those with accessibility needs, create an inclusive venue for fans and stay across emerging trends and issues. The Sensory Room is located on the Level one concourse and is accessible to all event patrons. Western Australia’s biggest independent food distribution company New West Foods WA has extended its long-standing relationship with Optus Stadium, signing a new three and a half year partnership agreement. The stadium’s new official food services and supply partner has provided fresh produce to the stadium since opening. New West Foods Managing Director Damon Venoutsos, yesterday joined Optus Stadium CEO Mike McKenna and General Manager Food and Beverage, Craig Menzies to officially announce the partnership. #optusstadium #partnerships

Strong Italian flavours swept across Perth last week for the Italian Festival of Football, when Serie A clubs AC Milan and AS Roma played an exhilarating historic match on Friday night at Optus Stadium in front of 56,522 fans. Thousands of out-of-state visitors and WA locals joined in five days of festivities which saw 5,432 fans attend open training sessions, and hundreds of others enjoying Italian flair at pre-match fan parties, fan marches, a junior football parade, grassroots activities and even a Little Italy Festival at Dorrien Gardens and the Italian Club the next day.
