If you are tired of reactive problem-solving, where you waste precious time recovering from mistakes, we have a suggestion. Try employing a visual management system. Visualisation will provide you and your teams real-time data, enabling proactive problem-solving and quicker decision-making. If you want to reduce the impact of unforeseen problems in your organisation and improve productivity, the answer is simple: make your performance data more visible. To help you get started, we offer free access to our introduction to visualisation training for a limited time. Register for the training to learn more about how visual management can transform your organisational performance. What is your proudest professional achievement? If you stop and reflect on your proudest professional achievements, what sort of things come to mind? This was an exercise the ORBIZ leadership team did recently, and it reminded us of something important. Organisations engage us to help drive operational efficiency and improve productivity with the goal of increasing commercial performance. However, as part of this work, our role is also to ensure that the workplace becomes safer. Everyone deserves to return home safely to their families after a day’s work. One of the industries we work in extensively is construction, and we have been privileged to spend several years supporting the Level Crossing Removal Project in Victoria, which aims to remove 110 dangerous level crossings by 2030. As part of our commitment to ensuring a safer rail network, we also proudly support the work of the TrackSAFE Foundation. To date, 84 dangerous crossings have been removed from around Victoria. Tragically, 84 is also the average number of fatalities experienced across the Australian rail network each year. While we are certainly proud of the commercial impact our work has on the performance of our client’s organisations, one of the things we are most proud of is the work we do to help make workplaces safer to ensure everyone gets to go home to their family. If you would like to support the work of the TrackSAFE Foundation, visit their website at the link below. https://lnkd.in/gEJtN5Hy We hope you and those you love get home safe tonight. #stayrailsafe #rail #pauseyourtunes #lookfortrains #listenfortrains #constructionindustry

Proud Supporters of TrackSAFE ORBIZ is proud to continue supporting the TrackSAFE Foundation for another year. There are an average of 84 fatalities across the 23,000 Australian rail crossings every year. Tragically, most of these deaths are due to suicide. The TrackSAFE Foundation is Australia’s only harm prevention charity focused on reducing deaths, injuries and near hits on the rail network. TrackSAFE has numerous activities that aim to reduce access to the rail corridor, encourage individuals in crisis to seek help and encourage others to intervene if they see someone in distress. One of the programs trialled in NSW and VIC was the ‘Pause. Call. Be Heard.’ campaign. The campaign uses positive and interactive advertisements to encourage the public to take a moment and remember that they are never alone and that Lifeline’s crisis support services are available 24/7. You can watch the short video below. If you would like to join us in supporting TrackSAFE to help prevent suicide and the trauma that follows for rail workers, visit their website at the link below for complete details. https://lnkd.in/gEJtN5Hy If you are struggling with your mental health, remember you are not alone, and we encourage you to call Lifeline on 13 11 14. #stayrailsafe #pauseyourtunes #lookfortrains #listenfortrains
