Last week, we hosted our third annual Paramount Liquor conference in Port Douglas, bringing together over 130 of our incredible staff, suppliers, and customers to explore the future of the liquor industry. With growth as the central theme, we connected with our partners across all categories to foster relationships, share insights, and discuss strategies for mutual success over the next five years.    We covered off an array of exciting sessions including powerful keynotes from Alex Moffat and Hayley Rose, learnt more about key areas of the business with the Paramount Games; educating on all areas from purchasing to our sales team strategies, listened to an exciting customer panel; diving into value beyond price and our interactive immersion sessions featured some of our key supplier brands, offering a hands-on experience for all attendees. We were also joined by Ian Mason, who announced our exclusive partnership with EzTenda Australia, which will revolutionise multi-category beverage tendering in Australia.   The conference culminated with the Paramount Awards, where we recognised the exceptional efforts of both our team and suppliers. Congratulations to all our award winners for their outstanding contributions!   As we look to the future, we remain committed to driving growth, supporting our suppliers, and leading the way in the Australian hospitality industry.

Recently, some of our customers and Paramount team members enjoyed a Balter Brewing Company weekender on the Gold Coast, hosted by Carlton & United Breweries. Cry Baby in Adelaide, Revolver in Melbourne, El Primo Sanchez in Sydney, and Burleigh Pavilion on the Gold Coast all had the chance to visit the Balter Brewery, spend a day on the Balter Deck at the footy, and indulge in some of Queensland's finest hospitality—paired with a few Balter Cerveza's and Balter XPA's. Paramount Liquor recently held the latest instalment of its Future Proof series at The Timber Yard on Tuesday evening. Over 500 attendees journeyed from regional Victoria and various parts of the country to participate in Future Proof Melbourne, where they sampled innovative new products and cocktails. I had the pleasure of joining the final panel for the evening alongside Matthew Stirling, the owner of award-winning bar Caretaker’s Cottage, esteemed food communicator Dani Valent and discussion facilitator, Penny Sippe. Together, we delved into the evolving trends, obstacles, and advancements influencing Melbourne’s dynamic hospitality sector, focusing significantly on strategies for sustainable growth in the years ahead. A great crew and a great turnout.
