Mortgage broker Katrina Parrington's story is one of resilience and adaptability in the face of major challenges - including her cancer diagnosis and relocating the family brokerage Parrington Finance from the Northern Territory to South Australia. Katrina is still working in the brokerage she set up but has now sold it to her daughter Kara Parrington, while Katrina's niece, Grace Clark,. is expected to buy into the business in the future. NT Existing Home Owners!!!🏡 Have you heard the good news? For existing home buyers in the Northern Territory you are now eligible for up to $30,000 towards their next home. Existing home buyers who build or buy a new home (new home is defined as not ever lived in) will be eligible for $30,000, with no cap on home values. There is no cap on the build or purchase price.😀 To be eligible, applicants must: • be a first home buyer • sign a contract to buy a home in the Territory between 1 October 2024 and 30 September 2025: o it must not replace other contracts signed before 1 October 2024 • be a person and not a company or trustee • have at least one person over the age of 18 • ensure one applicant is an Australian citizen or permanent resident • live in the home for at least 12 months after taking possession of the property or once construction of the home is complete. The HomeGrown Territory Grant increases the first home owner grant.
