Over the last three days I’ve been immersed in the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care's Primary Care Summit 2024. It's been a joy to have been involved, and to have co-facilitated one of a number of awesome workshops throughout the summit. This is my third attempt at trying to cram my key takeaways into a post without causing the character limit to have a meltdown. I have not been successful - so I’ve instead written up an article of reflection which I really encourage to you have a quick read of. My reflection doesn’t capture everything, but i hope if nothing else you reach it's end feeling as buoyed and excited about the future of Primary Care as I am. What is abundantly clear is that when we collaborate to clarify and align our values, and are flexible in our approaches - informed by practicing partnerships with lived-experience - we can meaningfully design and fund for impact. My sincere thanks to my colleagues Belinda Swan, Sari McKinnon, and Shelley Thomson for co-facilitating and contributing so thoughtfully to our workshop which explored distilling value to drive digital adoption in Primary Care.
