We’re drilling again at Hawks Nest Magnetite, the deposit that just keeps on giving. After 6 weeks of our program, we have promising initial field results. We discovered a new potential high quality DSO hematite deposit along the eastern flank of the proposed Kite magnetite pit. This adds to our previous intersections of Kite Banded Iron Formation (BIF) and ultra high grade massive magnetite. Our tests show that Kite ultra high grade massive magnetite contains up to 69% Fe. Early metallurgical test results indicate that Kite BIF magnetite has grades of 36% Fe with Davis Tube Recovery (DTR) over 45%. As we compile all the field data, we look forward to confirming our upgraded mineral resource to support our logistics and approvals studies. What a pleasure it is each year to host our annual school kids' mine site visit. It's not just about showcasing what we have but about seeing the enthusiasm and talent being nurtured and developed in our remote area schools. This year, we hosted our largest group yet, with over 30 representatives from Oodnadatta School, Coober Pedy Area School, and students from the Coober Pedy and Port Augusta Clontarf Academies. The kids travelled to our Peculiar Knob Iron Ore Mine near Coober Pedy and were shown the open pit, maintenance facilities, and large mining equipment. They also received an overview of how the mine site operates. This was followed by lunch in our onsite mess facility at Windy Valley Camp. A big thanks to our mining service providers Agile Mining Services, AusCrush, GLW Freight and Assetlink Village Services who made their team available to answer all the kids' questions and ensure they could safely explore our mine and enjoy the day. Thanks also to the chaperones who accompanied the kids and made this visit possible.

In preparation to transition production from our Peculiar Knob mine to our Buzzard DSO Hematite mine later this year, we’ve started taking delivery of our new on highway compliant quin trailer road trains. The first 2 sets of 9 have been delivered to site and are commencing work on our private 100km haul road for Peculiar Knob. The combinations are approximately 60m long and currently haul 200t payloads. They were designed and constructed by Bruce Rock Engineering and they certainly fit the bill for our arduous haul cycle. The quin trailers will be towed by new Kenworth T909 prime movers putting out over 600 horsepower by bulk haul contractor GLW Freight under contract to Agile Mining Services. Stay tuned for further updates as we navigate these exciting developments. Our Buzzard DSO hematite mine stepped up a gear last week with our first blast. The free dig dirt is gone, and now it’s down to fair dinkum mining with all drill and blast from here. Only a few more meters to go and we will be through the pre-strip and on top of the ore. We’re currently advancing the feasibility and approvals stage for our Hawks Nest Magnetite Project, focusing on 2 open pits: Kite and Kestrel. Notably, Kite boasts some of the highest recorded magnetite grades in Australia, with significant shallow lenses of massive magnetite identified at over 60% Fe, some over 25 metres thick. With drilling recommencing at Kite this month, we’re expecting to see some more fantastic high grade assays to underpin our magnetite resource expansion as we push towards 3 billion tonnes. This will also confirm our initial open pit mine designs which may incorporate up to 1 billion tonnes of inpit resource at over 35% Fe. Our offsite team’s focus is on preparing the submission of our new mining lease application scheduled for later this year. We’re gearing up for another big year of activity at Peculiar Knob as our mining services contractor expands production from 2.4 to 3 million tonnes per annum. With upgraded crushing capacity and additional train services now operating at 7 per week, our service providers are looking to dispatch Cape size vessels at the port every 3 weeks. We’re proud to share that our dedicated team of 180 people, along with our services contractors, have also begun to transition to our Hawks Nest Buzzard Mine as it commences operations. This continuity ensures the retention of valuable expertise and promises a smooth start up of our Buzzard production later in the year. Stay tuned for further updates as we navigate these exciting developments. At the forefront of technology, Peak Iron Mines has used specialist fixed-wing vertical take-off and landing drones to conduct a high resolution aeromagnetic survey over the Hawks Nest exploration lease. We will compare this data to previous surveys using conventional fixed wing aircraft to identify additional areas of ultra high grade magnetite, similar to our Kite deposit. Flying at night to avoid potential attacks by predatory eagles and goshawks, the survey covered over 5,000 line kilometres at a magnetometer height of 20 metres. Initial review of the data, prior to final analysis, reveals extremely high resolution images highlighting areas of significant interest over known magnetite prospects. Our mining operations at Hawks Nest Buzzard in South Australia have officially kicked off, with our mining contractor’s site facilities well on their way to completion. We’ve already started pre-stripping the ore as we prepare to produce 3 million tonnes per annum of high grade hematite from this key mining project. In 2023, we initiated the development of site infrastructure, laying the foundations for our operations. In January, we achieved a major milestone with our mining services contractor mobilising the first mining fleet to the site, marking a significant step in our journey. We eagerly anticipate exporting our first product by the end of this year. At Peak Iron Mines, we are proud to partner with the Clontarf Foundation to support young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men at the Coober Pedy Area School Clontarf Academy to realise their potential. Our sister company Northern Iron Pty Ltd recently hosted a group of accomplished Clontarf Academy students from South Australia at their Darwin head office. These impressive young men, having recently completed their year 12 studies, are currently on a tour across the Northern Territory, celebrating their academic achievements and the hard work that got them there. This week the Northern Iron team had the pleasure of hosting Clontarf Academy students from South Australia at our Darwin head office. This incredible group of young men have recently completed their year 12 studies and are ‘on tour’ in the Northern Territory to celebrate their hard work and academic achievements. The fellas gave a fantastic presentation to our team sharing the work that the Clontarf Foundation does and the positive impact it has had on many aspects of their lives. We were also lucky to hear from Northern Territory Clontarf Academy graduates and alumni who exhibit the program's core values and have achieved great things since completing their year 12 studies. Northern Iron’s relationship with the Clontarf Foundation was born via our sister company Peak Iron Mines who has had a partnership with them since 2020. We are proud to now share in this partnership with Clontarf, and expand the existing relationship to the academies across the Northern Territory and specifically the Tennant Creek region. We look forward to sharing more about our partnership with Clontarf and highlighting the incredible work they do within our community.
