Momentum is building at PhosCo Ltd as the team diligently prepares for the next phase of increased activity. Key highlights from the September Qtr: • Submitting a new permit application for Gassaat (100% PHO), which encapsulates the former Chaketma. This was in response to strong, vocal regional support for the development of the project by PhosCo. • The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between PhosCo and the parliamentary representative of the Jedelienne community for the Gassaat Phosphate Project. The MOU is non-binding and establishes a framework for cooperation and outlines commitments from both parties, paving the way for 10 percent project participation by impacted communities. • Mehdi Ben Abdallah has been appointed to the Board as Executive Director after providing invaluable contributions in his role as Senior Strategic Advisor. Mehdi’s deep industry understanding and commercial diplomacy acumen benefit the company greatly. • Finally, the Sekarna Phosphate Project (100% PHO) received a key approval and now awaits official gazetting (JORT). Sekarna is considered to be an early stage analogue of Gassaat and represents one of three key elements that will constitute a larger phosphate basin hub in Tunisia's Northern Phosphate Basin. We are pleased to announce that the Ministry of Industry, Energy & Mines has formally confirmed the exploration permit application for the Sekarna Phosphate Project has been approved, subject to final approval by the Ministry of National Defence. On receipt of a favourable report, the next step is for the permit to be published in the official gazette (JORT). PhosCo Managing Director, Taz Aldaoud commented: “This approval marks a significant milestone as Sekarna represents one of three key elements that will constitute a larger phosphate basin hub in Tunisia's Northern Phosphate Basin. Notably, this marks the first instance in Tunisia where a phosphate permit application for a project wholly owned by a foreign company has been approved, a responsibility we accept with utmost seriousness and gratitude. We eagerly anticipate the official gazetting of the permit, which will allow us to commence operations promptly. This development underscores our commitment to responsible resource exploration and our growing presence in Tunisia's mineral sector. PHOSCO SECURES $900,000 FUNDING ▫️Binding commitments for $900,000 converting note raise secured from current investors, subject to shareholder approval. ▫️ The capital raising was strongly supported by company management and cornerstone shareholder, Lion Selection Group (LSX.ASX). ▫️ Progress continues with in-country relationships at the highest levels of government in #Tunisia. ▫️ The raising will ensure PhosCo Ltd is well funded in anticipation of the issue of new #phosphate licences. PhosCo Ltd announced today that Taz Aldaoud has been appointed as Managing Director and Mehdi Ben Abdallah as Senior Strategic Advisor. These changes come as the company progresses the North #Phosphate Basin Project. We extend our gratitude to Simon Eley for his leadership as Managing Director. Simon will continue to serve on the Board as a Non-Executive Director. Mehdi has played a pioneering role in supporting foreign investment into #Tunisia for the benefit of both investors and the country.
