  • It can be a real challenge in workplaces to know what to assess, which wellbeing initiatives to run, and which of those need to be prioritised in order to reduce the overall health risks for your employees. Many wellbeing leaders struggle with the notion that many of their wellbeing program engagements throughout the year are only engaged in by the “healthiest” employees, or those that arguably may be already proactively looking after their own health and wellbeing. In Australia and New Zealand, 2 out of 3 people will be diagnosed with skin cancer by the age of 70. This is a harrowing statistic, and given our affinity in these countries to embracing the outdoors, sport, beaches, the clean air and open spaces, it is clear that prevention and protection against skin cancer is vitally important. Join us for our next Masterclass in August, delivered by Trent Marsh. This 45 minute session is interactive and suitable for leaders in HR, Health and Wellbeing or Health and Safety, or team leaders looking to inspire their team to healthy change. We look forward to seeing you there! #EmployeeWellbeing #SkinCancerChecks #WellbeingProgram #CorporateHealth

  • We're very proud to announce that Pinnacle Health Group Australia is being acquired by Medibank. Since 2010, directors, Tom Bosna and Josh Lambert, have been on a mission to #InspireHealthyChange in workplaces across Australia. What began as a passion for physiotherapy has grown into a commitment to enhancing employee health and wellbeing for some of Australia's top companies. While the journey has been adventurous, our mission has always been clear: to inspire health change in the workplace. We look forward to working diligently with our partners, suppliers, clients and employees and of course new colleagues at Medibank over the coming weeks. We are feeling very inspired and grateful to continue to improve the health and wellbeing of workplaces across Australia with the Pinnacle and Medibank teams and into the future. A special thank you to Medibank and our amazing Pinnacle team! https://lnkd.in/gmgyvJr7

  • If you work in the workplace wellbeing, health and safety or human resources space, chances are you have heard a lot lately around #PsychosocialRisk and #PsychosocialSupport The development of new workplace regulations in Australia has strengthened workplace health and safety laws, to better address risks to workplace psychological health. This has meant that workplace stakeholders have needed to improve education and awareness related to psychosocial hazards, to minimise or eliminate these risks in Australian workplaces and help to build safe and healthy workplaces. At Pinnacle Health Group, we are fielding loads of enquiries relating to psychosocial support, and the practical ways to provide services and programs to complement psychosocial risk management policies and procedures. Due to the overwhelming demand, we have decided to target our next Masterclass on this topic: Psychosocial Support in the Workplace.

  • Kathryn Elliott is The Alcohol Mindset Coach. Earlier in the year, Kathryn joined our Director Tom Bosna on the Well Workplaces. Thanks to spotify wrapped for pointing out the popularity of this episode! As we lead into the silly season it seems more people are interested in what alcohol free can look like for them. You can book Kathryn on this very topic for your #workplace #wellbeing #health #podcast
