Wow. Hasn't 2024 flown?! I know life has been busy which is why sometimes I need to disappear for a little to take care of personal priorities. So what has been happening? I'm working with a client helping to transfer their hand written books into Manuscripts. Along with that comes the research of suitable publishers, agencies, illustrators and writing competitions. I am a doer and love helping those creative minds bring their stories to life. On a personal front, because let's be real. I'm not only an entrepreneur, I'm also a mum. I've been fighting for the last few years to have my young son diagnosed. And it's finally happened. It's not been for the label more so for the extra support he needs. As work has also been a little quiet, I've decided it was time to give back to the community and volunteer my time. I've become Secretary with 3rd Bathurst Scouts Group. This was an easy decision. My values truly align with those of scouting. With this position comes new skills such as minute writing and grant writing. The last 6 months have been all about revising my business structure and where I see myself headed. I have finally had a chance the last couple of days to sit down and brain storm. Although we have all been unwell, having a chance to stop has been helpful.
