With an unconventional 45-degree softwall face, this recent blast at Foxleigh Mine called for precisely designed, double stitched angled holes to achieve even fracturing and movement of the overburden material. Our team tackled challenges head-on, loading 1,800t full column S2-50 and S2-70 and firing within 15 days.    This blast marked Foxleigh Mine’s 15th blast using AXXIS electronic titanium detonators, offering additional flexibility and enhanced safety features over traditional non-el to ensure accuracy in tricky conditions.
