Wonderful session yesterday with Stephen and Kylie. Thank you both so much for sharing your knowledge on such an important practice. Keep an eye out for the link - coming soon!
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of presenting Child Agency: Increasing the impact of work with children and families to support long-term outcomes at a webinar hosted by PRECI (Professionals and Researchers in Early Childhood Intervention). It was a privilege to co-present with Kylie Matusewicz who has been a key implementation driver for child agency at Noah's Ark Australia. Her leadership has inspired me to elevate my thinking from hearing the voice of children to promoting children as informed decision-makers, upholding their human rights, and ensuring their safety. If you missed the live session, don’t worry! The recording and slides will be available soon. Stay tuned for the link.

SURVEY EXTENDED until 14th October: If you know of any new graduates please share the link below with them. 5 mins is all that is needed! This will not only assist the students to complete their project but the resources developed will be available to the field.
SURVEY EXTENDED: Now due 14th October! Strengths-based practice survey! PRECI, in collaboration with Monash University, would like to request your support in reaching new graduates or early career ECI practitioners (3 years and under) OR professionals that are training or supporting early years practitioners. The purpose of this short survey is to gather information for a community project on the best ways to deliver educational resources to early career early childhood intervention (ECI) practitioners about strengths-based practice and what content to include. This survey will close on the 30th of September 2024. Your response is greatly appreciated and would help inform the development of resources for ECI practitioners and will ultimately benefit children and families. These will be available on the PRECI website in early 2025. https://lnkd.in/gnPVehhc

I work with some really wonderful educators who go above and beyond to care for children in #ecec, however there still is a huge gap in the understanding of neurodiversity and inclusion. A call for better understanding and support/resources to ensure best care for all children. Sharing my article published for 360info in response to the Productivity Commission’s recent inquiry into early childhood education and care.
