    ⏰ Daylight Saving Starts Soon! What Does It Mean for Overnight Workers? ⏰ On Sunday, 6 October 2024, clocks move forward by one hour at 2 am in ACT, NSW, SA, Tasmania, and Victoria. If you work overnight, check your award or contract. Most employees working through the daylight saving change will work one hour less but still get paid for their full shift. When daylight saving ends next year, you may work an extra hour but won’t receive additional pay. Stay informed and review your agreements!
