As a Product Manager, here are five daily practices that have been game-changers for me: 1️ Set up my day for success with the same morning routine 2️ Ask "Is this the best thing I can be doing right now?" 3️ Guard my time by asking why? 4️ Check, double-check, and then check again 5️ Continuously reflect, learn, and improve These habits have been instrumental in navigating the complexities of product management and driving impactful outcomes. Over the break, I was reflecting on my product management career. I asked myself, what are the biggest mistakes I've made and will not repeat again. Mistake 1: Overlooking User Feedback I've built what stakeholders have told me to build instead of listening to customers and building solutions to solve their problems. Mistake 2: Proper release planning In Scrum, we work in two-week sprints. This is great for fast iterations but you lack the planning cycles one level up which has had impacts on release planning and timing. Mistake 3: Not communicating enough. There's no such thing as over communicating as a product manager. Sometimes people forget, don't understand, were away, weren't listening, had other things on their mind, etc. When it comes time to release a new product you need everyone on the same page with a clear understanding of who needs to do what, when and why. What career mistakes have you learned from? #SaaS #ProductManagement

The old way vs the new way of product management. Old way • Relying on gut feelings to make decisions. • Prioritizing work without user involvement. • Lack of transparent communication with users. • Making product announcements without tracking the impact. New Way • Using the right tools to make data-driven decisions. • Engaging users in ideation via the upvoting feature. • Prioritizing work based on user needs with a roadmap feature. • Keeping users updated with the 'what's new' feature. How do you currently manage your products? #ProductManagement #SaaS #DigitalMarketing
